Distortion Reduction Circuitry
Onkyo improves linearity and reduces distortion found in the super-high frequency range such as "beat interference" through new DIDRC technology, effectively reducing perceptible noise.
Low Negative-Feedback Design
Perceived sound quality drastically drops when there is too much negative-feedback, and so to avoid this, Onkyo focuses on improving the frequency response and reducing distortion, without relying too heavily on negative-feedback.
Closed Ground-Loop Circuits
The M-5000R includes each circuit having a separate link to the power supply which assists in cancelling individual circuit noise while keeping the ground potential free of distortion.
High Instantaneous-Current Capability
This amplifier features HICC which can handle current loads up to 150 amperes, and enables an amplifier to immediately cancel the speakers' reflex energy and instantaneously send out the next signal.
