Strength:
great device, small and light and a price that can't be beat
-works as predicted and didn't have to worry about scratching the chipset
-this has a platform to place the hard drive vs my other
-this appears to be a new version as it comes with a Y-cable
-old version had a 1.5v AC connection for extra power but no AC adapter to stick into the connection
-note: if you are using USB 3.0, you won't need to plug in the second usb cable or AC adapter for that matter
-lots of room and can fit by oddly proportioned HDD
Weakness:
the only pain was that it doesn't come with a mini-screwdriver while other manufacturers (Coolmax) do
I had to use a regular screwdriver which was too big and I lost a screw. Luckily I kept my mounting screws for my HDD so i had plenty of extras
-fingerprint magnet
Summary:
other than missing a screwdriver it's great. Must buy at this price.
-note only one day of use and currently trying to install an OS onto it but am having problems, may not be related to the HDD enclosure |
