Strength: I am VERY new to all of this XBMC stuff, but all it took was a little forum reading and I was up and running in less than an hour. Amazing quality streaming, and Android 4.0.2 interface allows most of my Android apps to run as well - a huge bonus.
I would not say this is for the complete technical luddite, but I am no techie and was able to climb the learning curve quickly and with no issues. The forum moderators and other users have been amazing in their super-fast answers and support.
Weakness: A bit of a learning curve, but as long as you can read the forums, not an issue. Also, on weaker wireless systems, stuttering and buffering can occur. Recommend a really good wireless router or better yet, using the ethernet port and hardwiring it.
Summary: Buy it - you won't be sorry.

Summary: This little device is great for playing full 1080p quality movies from the net or your home storage devices. Operates wired or wireless. OS is easily modified with weekly Linux based builds ongoing. PIVOS works with platform hobbyists and coders - upd.s to firmware are often integrated into stock firmware upd.s.
Modified versions are available online at much higher costs - you can easily do these yourself by visiting the support forums at PIVOS Technology (people who make XIOS) and searching for unofficial Linux builds.
Adding fast micro SD card helps to maintain your personal settings and not have to recreate them every time you upd. the OS. Well worth the investment (used an old Micro SD from my old cell phone).

Strength: It runs XBMC which works very well. XBMC plays every file type and codec I could throw at it. When playing very high bitrate 1080p over the network it stuttered a bit, but it was still much better than my Popcorn Hour.
The included remote control worked well with XBMC. My wireless keyboard with trackpad works flawlessly for most other Android apps.
The Android YouTube player works well. It's a better UI than YouTube's "lead back" app that many other media players use.
Weakness: I had to manually download the OS update, the Launcher app, and XBMC app and copy them onto the device using a MicroSD card (not included).
The 800MHz CPU really struggles when using the web browser to view media-intensive websites.
Summary: Put in a better processor (e.g. the nVidia Tegra 2 used in higher end Android tablets), and automate the updates, and this would be a great little box.
