Returns and Warranty (RMA)
If you wish to return or exchange a product you purchased from Canada Computers, you will need to take it to one of our Service Centres. Please note our Service Centre hours and our return and exchange policies before making your trip to avoid any inconvenience.
If you require warranty service for your product, and your product falls under the warranty period covered by Canada Computers, you may choose one of the following methods: Bring the defective item to one of our Service Centres:
A trained technician will inspect and test your product for any defects or malfunction. If the product is deemed to be defective, you will be provided warranty service based on our policies.
Send us the product via courier:
If you are unable to take the product to one of our Service Centres, you may send us the product via courier. Before doing so, you will need to get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You will also need to refer to this number for tracking the status of your product while it is in warranty service.
To get the RMA number, simply download the RMA form (right click and save link as..), fill it in and email it to rma@canadacomputers.com. We will get back to you with an RMA number as soon as possible.
After receiving the RMA number, you can ship the defective item to us with the package clearly marked or labelled with the RMA number. It is your responsibility to ensure proper packaging as physically damaged products are not covered by our warranty policies. Please note that Canada Computers does not cover or reimburse shipping expenses, and does not accept collect or COD deliveries (all such deliveries will be refused).
A replacement or repaired item will be sent to your nearest store location for pickup and you will be informed when it is available.

Direct Replacement Plan (“DRP”)
Going through the standard warranty process, whether through the manufacturer or original place of purchase, can be a major hassle. We have all experienced it, or know someone that has gone through it. Hours of technical support, running around for RMA and case numbers, shipping costs, and waiting several weeks without a working product, are just some of the ordeals we normally have to go through.
With our DRP, replacing your defective product couldn’t be easier!
Simply bring the product, along with all the original box contents, to a Canada Computers’ Service Centre located within each of our stores. A technician will diagnose your product. If the product is found to be defective, and a replacement is available, it will be replaced on the spot with a working unit. If a replacement is not available immediately, one will be provided within 3-5 business days.
The DRP covers more than just your purchase; it covers the product for the length of the plan. Meaning, if the product is passed on to a friend or family member, the product will remain protected.
In addition, if you purchase the DRP with a PC, we will ensure minimal downtime in the event you experience hardware problems with any component. We will also cover any additional component or replacement if the defective part is no longer available and a similar or better product requiring new technology is used.
Another option to not miss out on, is our Dead or Stuck pixel protection option to our DRP. For a marginal cost, you can save yourself from being rejected for warranty if your LCD or Notebook doesn’t meet the minimal dead/stuck pixel requirements of the manufacturer.
Canada Computers’ Direct Replacement Plan is available today, covering a wide range of products. Before you make your purchase, ask a sales staff about protecting your product and potentially saving yourself a lot of time and money.
