Fantastic drive as long as you don't use Bitlocker. The lack of hardware encryption seems to result in the SLC caching not working as expected so write performance drops significantly, at least on my 15w Whiskey Lake CPU. It's being run at PCIe3.0 speeds in my current machine, but is maxing out the bus at 3GB/s for both reads and writes. Figured I'd buy something I can swap into a new machine later instead of sticking to PCIe3 drives that weren't much cheaper when the SN850X was on sale.

Been looking to increase my desktop's storage space for a while. Great product for a great price!

Staff who suggested it to me was very helpful as well! He helped me verify that the SSD was compatible with my current hardware and also suggested that I eventually move my OS over to this SSD, boot from it, and install it on the slot closer to the CPU for better performance.
