Great value case used these 4x. The glass at this price point is a bonus. Lots of cooling 7 x 120mm. Good USB, Audio and LED. Had to remove the motherboard to fish cables. The back panel is forgiving for running cabling. PSU was snug and all cables should be plugged in first. Top and bottom dust mesh work well. Thumbscrews are good. Lots of space for 2 hdd and 2 sdd, video, water cooling. Surprisingly fit a large Noctua air cooler. This is just the metal case with glass for a few dollars more.

Great case, Great value!

Good size, can fit pretty much any motherboard you want and a full size graphics card. It's not so big, though, that you may find it intimidating.
Airflow is excellent through the mesh weave. I recommend buying at least one extra fan for the front, with a splash of colour to give this case some style.
The tempered glass side is really great. The Wraith Prism Cooler really looks great.
Cable management is wonderful. Drive bays are tucked away behind the back panel (you can put up to two SSD's and two HDD's) while the power supply fits neatly below.
If you're and old-time computer nerd like me, you'll also appreciate the optical drive bay at the front, along with the 2 x USB 3.0 ports, and 2 x USB 2.0 ports also at the front. I also like the fact that the power switch is on top of the case, making it easy for me to reach down and turn it on rather than stretching for it.
To top it off, the price is excellent for such a well-designed case, one that can accommodate several rebuilds, especially if you like to update your hardware to keep up with changing technology every few years.
Not very stylish by most standards. It's basically a tall brick. If you're one of those 'hipster' computer guys you probably won't find much here to love here.
The unit comes with only one fan, installed. I would have liked to have had at least two more. That said you'll definitely want to buy at least one, ideally with some colour to give this case some flare.
A great case and a great value. It eminently customizable and there is a lot you can do with this space. A 'hipster' computer nerd might not like that it's a a tall 'brick,' but I'm sure the rest of us can appreciate both the simple elegance of its design and the personal tweaks (such as adding LED lighting) you can give it to make it as unique as you want.

Style Meets Function
Reviewed by: Steven
Large glass panel for clear view of internals
DVD Bay
Mounts for 5 fans
Sensible placement of buttons
Tall but not too tall - ideal size in most respects
Configurable for various Mobo sizes
Cables can be easily hidden
Only comes with 1 fan
Can only hold 2 HDD's and 2 SSD's
This case is truly remarkable. As a mid-tower it has plenty of space, allowing for the installation of a wide variety of motherboards and various sizes of video cards too. But its not overly big either, though I would not be hauling it around to a LAN Party.
The case has a quiet 'elegance' to it, without being dull or boring. The power and reset buttons are sensibly placed along with the USB ports and the DVD bay. It is a mature design for those who desire to build a rig that is both functional and powerful, without being flashy.
Wires are easily hidden, providing a largely unobstructed view of the insides through the large glass panel. It is well ventilated though I question why Cougar included only one fan (I used two for my build) out of a possible five. SSD mountings are on the back side of the unit behind the motherboard, while the HDD's can be hidden below along with the power supply.
More than that, in a time with case manufacturers are seemingly trying to wean people away from DVD bays, I was genuinely pleased that Cougar still provided one for this unit. For those who have DVD's or want to install Blue Ray or perhaps 4K Ultra disc readers, this is a plus and makes this case virtually future proof going forward.
It certainly works great with my current build and I look forward to keeping it around when it is time, again, to upgrade my system once more.
