good 1440P picture paid $360
freesync on monitor causes bad black bleeding, ghosting, and smearing the refresh rate of monitor feels slower than advertised
This is a great 1440p Monitor but there seems to be one major flaw...The advertised Freesync of the monitor makes the image noticeably worse when gaming. With Freesync enabled or the Overdrive set above normal there was a significant amount of black bleeding, smearing or ghosting. What is the point of offering free sync on a monitor if it makes the image worse rather than better. I have never owned a Freesync Monitor so I can not say whether this is an AMD thing or an Acer thing or both but if you get this monitor expect to turn freesync off! The quality of the image is fantastic otherwise and I will still say this monitor is awesome but that is only because I paid $360 Canadian, at it's original price there would be much better options!

Great Monitor

-Picture out of the box is great, many modes to choose from. -Price -Stand is sturdy -Curve is a nice touch -Actual button to shut off the monitor instead of a touch one.
Had a faulty cable out of box,had to purchase another one from Canada Computers. After switching it out, monitor turned on and all was well.
Honestly, I have no complaints about the monitor itself. If you're on the fence about 1080 vs 1440, I'd make the jump- especially considering the sale price. The curved display is really nice and do like 1500r over 1800r but that could just be personal taste.
