Took the switch out of its box, connected power and networking and things worked as expected. On downside is that there were no screws in the box for mounting.

Great Gigabit switch, allows me to give ports priority, so I bought 2, 1 in the house and the other in the man cave where my sim rig is. I can prioritize the port on both ends that my rig is hooked up to so I don't have any issue when other people in the house are on the network and my racing doesn't get affected.
