A total of 48 remastered courses from throughout the Mario Kart™ series are racing to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game as paid DLC*. Courses include those based on real-world locations like Paris Promenade and Tokyo Blur from the Mario Kart Tour game in addition to nostalgic favorites like N64 Choco Mountain and Wii Coconut Mall! Content will release in 6 waves of 8 courses from March 18, 2022 until the end of 2023.

Players who have not purchased the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass and do not have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership can play the additional courses included in the DLC if another player has the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass and initiates multiplayer mode and course selection.



Starting March 22, 2022, courses included in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass will appear in the online course selection for Worldwide and Regional races.



The download button for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers is planned to be displayed on this page starting March 11, 2022 at 9:00 AM PT. Users can begin playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass content at launch on March 18, 2022.
