Very nice display, works well with my macbook pro m1 and xbox series x with kvm to switch between the two systems. easy to install. comes with hdmi, dp and power cables, I just hope that a thunderbolt 3 (usb c) cable is also included in the box so I dont have to purchase it separately.

Update your firmware immediately then you'll be happy!

Great colour and brightness, very fast response time and 144hz at 4K is glorious on PC.
Have to immediately update the firmware. Mine unboxed with version 2, and current version is 7. Out of the box, it had terrible horizontal tearing and below average response time. No native g-sync for nvidia cards, which isn't advertised.
So I spoiled myself with a 38" Alienware AW3821DW for the past year until I idiodically cracked a corner of the screen on it, so had to find a replacement and didn't want to spend another $1800 on one.
Spent a lot of time reviewing and watching youtube for the latest and greatest, and eventually landed on this model, although I hate Gigabyte for how bad their quality control was on the 3000 series nvidia GPUs.
They're pretty new to monitors, and this one is an underdog for sure. It's got no RGB, which I think is fine, although having a bit of back-light RGB for when the room lights are off is kind of nice, but for aesthetics, I don't care about it. I'm not a 12 year old girl. Build quality feels quite good and the stand has all the tilt and swivel you could ever ask for. Cable management isn't the best, but you can mitigate it.

The bare facts on this monitor are this: Unbox it, FIND THE POWER SWITCH!!!! This is not in the instructions. There's a tiny physical switch beside the power cord input... then get the firmware updated to the latest version, and if you're running an Nvidia GPU (suggest 3080 Ti or better to get that 144 Hz refresh target), enable G-sync in Nvidia settings. It will tell you that this isn't an Nvidia certified display, but it does make a difference if you force the PC to think that it is.
Colours are great, brightness is great, there are zero noticeable edge lighting issues, at least on mine, and overall it's just a really nice immersive 4K gaming experience. 32" was a bit iffy for me for FPS gaming as I'm used to that for 1440P resolution on 27" displays, but at 4k, it's really pretty sweet. I had to push the screen back a couple inches on my desk but it's pretty slick now that I've had some run-in time with it, and the sharpness between 4K and 1440p scaled at a similar viewing size is very noticeable, with the nod to 4K obviously.

I bought it at the same time as the new LG 34GP950 ultrawide 3440x1440 180hz, and after severe edge lighting issues, although the colour and brightness were better with that one, at the price difference there's no actual comparison. If my return period somehow makes it to the release of the new Alienware 34" quantum dot OLED for $1650... might justify spending the extra on that... but otherwise this M32U is going to be VERY hard to beat under a grand.
