NOT for Ps/2 mouse or keyboard

Product title implies that it is for a Ps/2 keyboard. However it will not work with either a mouse or keyboard. Tried IBM and HP keyboards. A "converter" is required, not an adapter. A converter has 'active' circuitry which converts the Ps/2 signals to ones understood by the USB plug.

Waste of time and money.

When used, didn't recognize the keyboard I attached (and tried others) so I couldn't use the adapter.

Tried to use a PS2 keyboard to connect to a USB connector. The Adapter did not pass the configuration info from the keyboard. Therefore adapter was worthless. Since it was special order was not able to return and get a refund.

Beware: this is a PASSIVE adapter, which works only if the PS2 device already knows how to speak USB and just needs the proper connector. Some late-model PS2 devices do. A great many don't, especially older ones, and for them this adapter is useless. The product description really should mention this!
