Didn't last, despite it's features.

Bought it for data security and reliability. Despite bad sectors, I was able to recover all my data.

This is a very noisy drive right out of the box - first time I heard one so loud, I thought it was defective! Bad sector issues. Not as quick as the Blue.

Drive starting to fail after 4 years into it's 5 year warranty. Too many bad sectors, though I was able to recover the most important things. Despite extreme slow performance and many bad sectors, it did not prevent me from backing up my data.

Quick, never failed once for the over 5 years ive had this drive, I even got 2 more black and 2 gold drives.

The only weakness is people who don't know how to use it and say its a bad drive, in reality its a really good drive.

Its not noisy, its not slow, however if you are expecting SSD performance from this drive, you didn't read the specs before making the purchase. This is a performance storing drive, but better served for gamers IMO, not exclusively.
