good gaming monitor

no real complaints with it. no ghosting or anything.... fast refresh.... games are vibrant and smooth. its really nice having all the extra space in game...... it immerses you. id say this monitor is a 8/10 sometimes it moves around easily..... but steadies itself out. typing on the keyboard also makes it shake a bit.

Great colour and very useful size

The display is the same as two 27" monitors, but without the frame in the middle. When combine with Microsoft's free FancyZones utility (google it) you can easily define zones on your screen and just shift-drag windows into them. This is the killer app for a screen like this. The screen is curved which makes for comfortable watching and the monitor stand allows the monitor to be set to various heights and angles for optimal viewing. The resolution is high, better than HD, and the colours are excellent with a high dynamic range (it's HDR10) so blacks are black and whites are bright.

The screen controls are a bit finicky. Not a big issue as I set them once and don't touch them again.

You can buy a cheap monitor, but given than a good monitor might outlive a couple computers, it makes sense to invest in a good one. Once you get used to the size and image quality of this monitor, you will not want to go back.
