It works great so far in a new build. It was hard to install the included cooler. But I realized I had to put more pressure on the spring screws to get them on the board. Otherwise, it functions great with almost no delays on system operations. Definitely a really good budget CPU.

What i liked about this CPU is the price, i bought this for my son and he built the computer himself. The Cpu was running quite cool with the wraith cooler and the price for 280$ for a really great CPU and cooler? Sign me in!

I would say the only thing i did not like about this product is the speed of this cpu is a little slow for 300 bucks (per what my son says) the CPU is able to beat the 2700x but still.

Overall 5/5 the cooler helped save us a ton and overall even if it's a little slow it still gets the job done with it's 6 cores and threads.

Fantastic Multi and Single core performance. Efficient. PBO2.

Price. $399 at release jumped up to $439 a couple weeks post release. Still a good price as the handily beats 2700X.

Overall, awesome CPU for the mainstream market. Using new PBO2 Curve Optimizer can get you 4.650GHz all core boost with a -30 offset which is 100W TDP. With some tweaking you could get at you could get a 4.7 All-Core and Single @ 4.85.
