My boyfriend bought this for me along with an AIO for my new build and so far I must say it is performing quite well. It does get hot compared to my ryzen 1700x but having the extra cores just gives me so much more computing performance!

For the price, you really can't beat this processor. I got the CC combo that paired it with the Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wifi II Mobo and honestly I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. Used primarily for gaming AAA titles. You won't have any remorse picking this up
