- Small, not bulky
- Easy to setup
- Keeps signal strong in area nearby
- 5GHz wifi does not have large area coverage
- Gets a little bit warm (but not crazy warm)
- Expensive when not in sale
I bought this extender two days ago. I needed stronger wifi in my temporary home office. So far is working good, I did not notice any signal dropping (so far) like those who wrote bad reviews on the web. I use this extender only on 5GHz and I did not notice decrease of speed or lagging when browsing the web or streaming. Only drawback of this type of extender is that it creates its own wifi network so you have to switch from this network to the router's one when you are moving in the house with your device. So it's best when your device is stationary (as my work computer is in my home office).
